Dear Patrons,
I hope you find this resource list helpful and enjoyable!
It was created during the pandemic and will continue to be featured and updated.
Newest additions are CHILDREN'S BOOKS FROM AROUND THE WORLD and MICHIGAN LEARNING CHANNEL.
Please know that I have not personally vetted them, but I did find them on two of my professional Story Time and Library Programming listservs which I trust, as well as from Facebook pages of local teachers and professional emails from other libraries.
The links are valid as of June 2021
Enjoy and I look forward to seeing you and all my "Library Kids" during your next visit!
Tecumseh District Library's hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.!

MUSEUMS
National Museum of American History
The Smithsonian National Museum of American History is home to more than 1.8 million objects and more than three shelf-miles of archival collections. On behalf of the nation, we preserve and share this extraordinary national collection encompassing everything from the original Star-Spangled Banner to Abraham Lincoln’s top hat; from the first computer bug to the first artificial heart; from Dizzy Gillespie’s angled trumpet to Dorothy’s ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz. Our archival collections include a remarkable array of American history in documents, photographs, and other works, including major holdings on the histories of American business and music.
National Museum of Natural History
The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History virtual tours allow visitors to take self-guided, room-by-room tours of several exhibits and areas within the museum from their desktop or mobile device. Visitors can also access select collections and research areas at our satellite support and research stations as well as past exhibits no longer on display.
