Library Reopening Guidelines
Limited Reopening Hours: Monday through Saturday 10 - 5
We ask that you:

Wear a face mask.

Maintain a distance of 6 feet apart from patrons who are not in your family group.

Do not come into the building if you are ill or have been ill. Arrange for a lobby pickup of materials.

Return all items to the outside book drop, so that we may quarantine them.

Limit your library visit to picking up materials and checking out.

Computers are available and are spaced 6 ft apart. Please limit your computer time as we will have fewer computers available. Please let a staff member know when you are finished with the computer so it may be sanitized for the next person.

Please let a staff member know when you are finished with the fax machine or copiers, as well.

We will continue to provide lobby pickup for those who prefer not to come into the building; you must contact us to request lobby pickup.

We will continue to provide outreach services to those who need them.

Please call the library  with any questions: 517-423-2238

Tecumseh District Library is reopening in stages to best protect our patrons, their families, and our staff.

We move to the Limited Library Opening stage on Monday, July 6.  Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm.  Please follow the above Library Reopening Guidelines.

For Lobby Pickup, Patrons Patrons may reserve items by phone (517-423-2238), through our website, through, or with our TDL app.  Please specify that you prefer lobby pickup and please make sure to include your card number.  When the requested items are ready, we will contact the patron with a pick up time.  Patrons will pick up their items at the front door of the library, for a contact-free check out.

The library book drop is open!

Patrons are now able to return checked out items through our book drop.  Items returned will be subject to quarantine before check in, so please allow for that delay when checking your account.

Wireless Internet Access

Tecumseh District Library's wireless internet network is now available from 7am to 10pm each day.  The wireless network should reach to the parking lot and to the front of the building so that you can access the internet on your devices while maintaining physical distance.
