Detroit: Rebuilding a City and a Home

Learn about author Drew Philp’s experiences rebuilding his abandoned house in Detroit from the foundation to the roof.  Discover some of the challenges that he faced, such as living without electricity, keeping warm with a woodstove and protecting himself from intruders.  Get a glimpse into the rich history of Detroit.

Harry Potter Club, Monday, September 25th, 3:15 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. 7th-12th grade!  4th Monday of each month.  

Decorate Your Own Mug, Wednesday, October 11th at 3 p.m.  This program is free and we'll supply all the materials.  

Glittering Gourds, Wednesday, October 25th at 3 p.m.  Decorate for Halloween with some gourd-geous decor.  


MOSAIC MANIACS: a monthly craft program for Tweens
On the third Thursday of each month, twelve fifth through seventh graders join Mrs. Reasoner in Imagination Station for two hours of fun creating a variety of scenes with peel-and-stick mosaics.
The Registration List has two openings available!  Tweens must have a valid library card!
