Pause to Save Lives
For the safety of our community and in support of the recent order from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Tecumseh District Library will be moving back to the Lobby Pickup stage of our reopening plan from November 18 until December 9, 2020. Only library staff will be allowed in the building for this three week period. This is a temporary move to help control the spread of COVID-19 in our community and state.
Lobby Pickup hours will be Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm. There will be no pickup hours on Sunday.
Please continue to return items in the outdoor book drop. All returned items are quarantined for 5 days before they are checked in and removed from your account. Due dates and fines will remain in effect as usual.
Copying, faxing, and printing services will be available with lobby pickup.
Quiet rooms will not be available, but the library’s parking lot wifi access will continue to be available 7am to 10pm each day. Network name: TDL Guests. No password required.
Virtual programming will continue. Book Bingo and Afternoon Book Club for November are cancelled. Click here to see our full calendar of events.
Thank you for joining us in this pause to save lives. Library staff will continue to be here to help through this temporary rolling back of services. We look forward to returning to regular library services on December 9.

Library Reopening Guidelines
We ask that you:
Wear a face mask.
Maintain a distance of 6 feet apart from patrons who are not in your family group.
Do not come into the building if you are ill or have been ill. Arrange for a lobby pickup of materials.
Return all items to the outside book drop, so that we may quarantine them.
Limit your library visit to picking up materials and checking out.
Computers are available and are spaced 6 ft apart. Please limit your computer time as we will have fewer computers available. Please let a staff member know when you are finished with the computer so it may be sanitized for the next person.
Please let a staff member know when you are finished with the fax machine or copiers, as well.
We will continue to provide lobby pickup for those who prefer not to come into the building; you must contact us to request lobby pickup.
We will continue to provide outreach services to those who need them.
